OUR PROGRAM

Our program provides comprehensive support to innovative startups and SMEs, assisting them along all stages of business life cycle, through specific actions aimed at strengthening growth and network development.

Since 2013, we have supported over 560 startups thanks to a dedicated team of experienced professionals and the support of a solid network of partners.

OUR ACTION

We start from the assessment of business plans to later support entrepreneurs strenghten their business and capitalize on new growth opportunities. 

To do this, we provide a permanent platform through which founding teams can submit their projects. Applications for 2024 will be open until April 17.

 

STEP 1: ASSESSMENT

The evaluation process takes into consideration several components, including:

  • founding team
  • product/service disruptiveness
  • target market and expected economic metrics
  • project's stage of development and its track record
STEP 2: SELECTION

Along with a pool of industry experts, entrepreneurs, and professionals from UniCredit's network, we identify the projects admitted to our program and the recipients of the monetary prizes.

For each sector we select about 10 startups to focus on.

STEP 3: ACCESS TO THE PROGRAM

Founding teams receive dedicated support throughout the next 12 months, leveraging on specific initiatives designed to consolidate growth and boost networking opportunities.

STEP 4: FEEDBACK

Business projects will be reviewed by Start Lab team and entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to receive tailored advice from a pool of experts, mentors, entrepreneurs, and potential investors, thus developing customized consulting to the specific challenges that the business faces.
