SEBASTIANO COSSIA CASTIGLIONI - VEGAN INVESTOR & ACTIVIST

Sebastiano is an award-winning entrepreneur, activist, investor, and advisor to corporations and governments around the world. An impassioned vegan and animal rights activist, Sebastiano's primary focus is on promoting the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle globally. He is an investor, directly or through partnerships, in over eighty companies in the plant-based and cruelty-free space. He invests through Vegan Capital and his fund Planthesis, and is also a partner of Blue Horizon. He is the co-founder and chair of Natural Order Acquisition Corp., a SPAC targeting the plant-based F&B space, that closed a $230 million IPO and was listed on Nasdaq with ticker NOAC in November 2020. He's the owner of acclaimed Tuscan winery Querciabella, and co-founder of the recently launched revolutionary gluten-free pasta brand Bontasana. He serves on the board of six non-profits in the animal protection sector, and is the founder of the Plant-Based Empowerment Foundation active in Senegal.

Ernesto Ciorra began his career as a partner at consulting firm Busacca & Associati, helping telecommunications businesses in a number of innovative projects. In 2003 he founded the consulting firm Ars et Inventio, which he headed up until taking up his current position. He supported the planning of the Chief Innovation Officer Function at leading firms around the world. Mr. Ciorra taught Innovation Management at a number of Italian and Spanish universities and was the scientific coordinator of the Masters in Innovation Management ran by Italian newspaper Sole24Ore's Business School. He was also a member of the advisory board of the Master in Innovation Strategy at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, and the director of the Advanced Innovation Management Programme at the IE Business School in Madrid.

Alfredo Maria De Falco is Deputy CEO of CIB at UniCredit and Member of the Executive Committee. In this capacity, he has the responsibility of CIB Italy and oversees the International Network of the Group (UK, Spain, Luxemburg, MEA, Asia Pacific, Americas).
De Falco joined Unicredit in 2003 and has extensive experience within the Group, including responsibility since 2016 for leading CIB's US operations. Previously, he served as head of Cib Italy Network, gaining in-depth knowledge of the Italian market and customers.

MASSIMILIANO MAGRINI - CO-FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER AT UNITED VENTURES

Massimiliano is an Italian entrepreneur, manager and venture capitalist, co-founder and managing partner of United Ventures. With a master's degree in venture capital from Harvard Business School, he began his professional career as a business development manager and managing director in media and technology companies. He believed from the beginning in the potential of search engines as a revolutionary tool to connect the individual with access to information, and in 2000 he introduced Altavista in Italy as country manager. In 2002 he was chosen by Google to bring the American multinational to the Italian market. Thanks to his work, the search engine has become the most used web tool by Italian users and one of the main media in Italy in terms of advertising turnover.

As a founding partner at Speedinvest, Daniel covers limited partner relations and fundraising both on the fund and portfolio levels. Speedinvest is  one of Europe's most active early stage investors with more than €500m AUM and 40 investors based in Berlin, London, Munich, Paris, Vienna and San Francisco.
Daniel started his professional career as a stockbroker and private banker with ErsteBank in Vienna and Credit Suisse in Zurich. In 2000, he teamed up with Oliver Holle and Werner Zahnt in their Fintech startup, offering mobile payments to the media, entertainment and information industries. In 2006, they sold their startup NASDAQ listed VeriSign in a €55 million exit.

At Aster we typically lead early stage deals, investing between $0.5M-$5M and are acknostic technology wise. We have done in the past both software and hardware deals, and get particularly excited when innovation can help change the status quo, often for the better of our world. Our 20+ years commitment towards sustainability transformation has made us becoming one of the most recognized early stage funds worldwide for climate tech.
Occasionally, Fabio acts as a  Business Angel and likes helping both first time and more experienced entrepreneurs in their pre-seed phase of development.

NICLAS HOLMBERG - MANAGING DIRECTOR LISTINGS SWEDEN AT NASDAQ

Niclas is responsible for listings in Sweden on the Main List and First North. He is board member of the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, part of the EIT Health Advisory Board and an ambassador for the European Women Association. In 2021 he won the Wintrade Global Award for supporting female entrepreneurs. He previously served as Vice President and held several senior positions in Capital Markets, Asset Management and International within the banking sector. Niclas has studied economics at Stockholm University, University of the West Indies and Wharton University of Pennsylvania. During his time in the West Indies he served as national team coach in table tennis for Trinidad and Tobago.

She has a Master and a PhD in Economics at the University of York, UK.

ATTILIO MAZZILLI - PARTNER, HEAD OF THE ITALIAN TECH GROUP - ORRICK

Attilio is a partner in the Milan office, member of the international Technology Companies Group and Head of the Italian Tech Group.                    He focuses his practice on advising high growth technology companies and Venture Capital firms in several areas, including corporate and securities law, mergers and acquisitions, and listings. Several standout technology companies and their founders have turned to Attilio, who currently represents the same at all stages of their life-cycle. Attilio earned his law degree from the University of Milan and he attended the University of Southern California School of Law in Los Angeles (USA), where he earned his Master's degree.
