The Commission on Clean Tech
More than 797 UniCredit Start Lab project applications have been evaluated, and the Commission on Clean Tech will meet on June 28, 2017, to select the winning proposal from among eight finalists.
The startups selected to participate in UniCredit Start Lab 2017 will receive:
customized banking advice from a UniCredit manager
guidance from professional mentors, consultants and entrepreneurs, who will help them develop their businesses by offering skills and providing access to networks
management training for both domestic and international operations through UniCredit's Startup Academy
introductions to potential investors
The winner will also receive a cash prize of €10,000.
The eight finalists are as follows:
BETTERY - a novel lithium / air rechargeable liquid battery with the highest energy ever reported that brings about a change of paradigm. It allows fast recharging by replacing the internal battery liquid in a way similar to a refueling
FASTECS - the startup patented and launched an innovative wood prefabricated system to upgrading roofs construction. The innovative solution is a prefabricated modular roofing system that can be applied to new building or refurbished ones and also to residential buildings
INFRAKAT - an innovative patented infrared gas stove with no emission pollutants that can be used both in industrial and domestic environments
RESET - the clean tech startup developed syngaSmart® an environment-friendly technology for clean energy cogeneration (electrity + heat + biochar) from renewable sources, namely gasification of biomasses such as woodchips. The product line comprises a 50kWe and a 100kWe CHP; the power units are containerized, modular and scalable, for plug and play use
SCOOTERINO - remember the meeting you missed because of rush hour traffic? What if you could be always on time with no stress? Scooterino is the Blablacar for scooters that provides an IOS and Android app that facilitates peer-to-peer ridesharing, connecting those who have the need of a fast ride, with scooter drivers in their proximity
SUN GEN - solar concentrators for thermal and cogeneration applications. The FOCUS 120 thermal concentrator operates up to 120°C, the high temperature FOCUS 300 works with diathermic oil up to 300°C, FOCALSTREAM HCPVT (High Concentration Photo Voltaic and Thermal) produces simultaneously heat and power
THE ENERGY AUDIT - the startup developed Energy Data Scientist®, an innovative software, service and training platform that focuses on energy data analysis. Through the platform it is possible to organize big data into predictive models which can predict the energy behavior of a city, hospital, or industrial asset
WINDCITY - the startup patented a new energy conversion device to make energy production possible in any wind condition: variable geometry for variable flows
