The Commission on Clean Tech

 

 

The Commission on Clean Tech will meet on June 8, 2021, to select the winning proposal from among nine finalists.

 

The startups selected to participate in UniCredit Start Lab 2021 will be offered several opportunities, including: 

  • participation in meetings with UniCredit Corporate clients in order to evaluate potential commercial/industrial/technological partnerships, both in ad hoc sectoral initiatives and in one-to-one meetings;
  • opportunity to get in touch with possible investors, including international ones, in dedicated initiatives;
  • access to the Startup Academy and other initiatives as part of the coaching and managerial training program organized by the UniCredit Start Lab team;
  • guidance from professional Mentors, consultants and entrepreneurs, who will help them develop their businesses by offering skills and providing access to networks;
  • the assignment of a dedicated UniCredit manager.

The winner will also receive a cash prize of €10,000.

DAZE TECHNOLOGY

Daze Technology is engaged in the development of charging systems for electric vehicles. Its flagship product is DazePlug, an automatic conductive charging system for electric cars, which eliminates the critical issues related to home charging. The solution, thanks to the use of robotics, is completely automated and does not require the use of cables or charging columns.

 

GREEN INDEPENDENCE

Green Independence wants to democratize access to renewable energy with the possibility of sustainable in-loco production directly from the sun and water, thus reversing global warming. To do this, GI, with its proprietary technology, the New Artificial Leaf, imitates nature by transforming water and the sun into green hydrogen. NAL integrates photovoltaic and electrochemical technology in order to enable a decentralized/off-grid production of Green Hydrogen and other solar-fuels, while recycling CO2 emissions by transforming them into valuable products.

 

LAKENERGY  

Lakenergy provides e-mobility services that, through customized IT solutions, include different last mile sharing vehicles (e-boats, e-bikes, e-scooters), in an historical and environmental context, the lakes of the North of Italy, characterize by a strong interest for local, sustainable and experiential tourism.

 

LANDFILL4.0 (by EXE - ENGINEERING FOR ENVIRONMENT)

EXE Engineering has developed Landfill4.0, a technology to make the management of biogas produced by landfills automated and centralized, in order to increase its capture, reduce its emission into the atmosphere and make it usable for the production of electricity.

 

NEXT (BY GETPLUS)

NEXT is a modular smart vehicle behaving as a shared car or as a taxi but also as a bus, last mile delivery van, or a truck for long distances, or an interchange hub for passengers/goods without outdoor transshipment. It is based on swarms of modular electric vehicles. Each one can join and detach with others on standard city roads. When joined, they create an open, bus-like area allowing passengers to stand and walk from one module to another. Modularity allows "enroute-transfer", that optimizes system capacity and cuts cost and traffic.

 

NUVAP

Nuvap is a pioneer in the management of indoor air quality and promotes the Health of People and Healthiness of Built Environment. Thanks to Nuvap's cloud platform, it is possible to detect, monitor and communicate in a simple and comprehensive manner, the presence of both chemical and physical pollutants (up to 26 factors) in workplaces, schools, hospitality and health care facilities or other private and public buildings where people sped regularly several hours per day.

 

RIFIUTOO (by SFRIDOO)      

Sfridoo is an innovative platform where companies meet to buy and sell scrap, by-products, inventory leftovers and corporate assets. Sfridoo has developed "Rifiutoo", a cloud based software to help companies in waste management. Rifiutoo allows to simplify, optimize and speed up waste management thanks to the automation of administrative procedures (supplier data, registers and documentation, etc.).

 

THE BREATH (BY ANEMOTECH)      

Anemotech has patented theBreath, a printable fabric that passively absorbs air micro-pollutants with bacteriostatic and antiviral capabilities. theBreath is used in advertising billboards, street furniture, construction sites and indoor furniture. Thanks to its versatility, it is used in the automotive and transport sectors. Masks, strollers and domestic appliances are other examples of applications.

 

WESII 

Wesii is the Italian market leader for aerial thermography inspections and analysis for the Solar Industry and is expanding globally. They conduct plant inspections using drones and airplanes in order to digitize the plant and utilize their proprietary Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms to detect and classify anomalies in the plant, allowing clients to create custom reports, take immediate action and make the smartest business decisions to maximize plant efficiency.
