The Commission on Digital
The Commission on Digital will meet on July 18, 2017, to select the winning proposal from among ten finalists.
The startups selected to participate in UniCredit Start Lab 2017 will receive:
customized banking advice from a UniCredit manager
guidance from professional mentors, consultants and entrepreneurs, who will help them develop their businesses by offering skills and providing access to networks
management training for both domestic and international operations through UniCredit's Startup Academy
introductions to potential investors
The winner will also receive a cash prize of €10,000.
The ten finalists are as follows:
BANDYER - a provider of tailored services for the B2B segment, based on WebRTC technology; it allows video-communication without requiring the download of any software. The company offers a cloud based video-communication solution that can be vertically integrated within business existing platforms and mobile applications
COHAERENTIA - developed an innovative fiber-optic monitoring system enabling the real-time control of production facilities, machineries or civil infrastructures to improve the quality and efficiency of manufacturing production processes and the civil infrastructure security
DIGISKY - a company that develops avionics systems that make use of general aviation aircraft as aerial platforms to carry out digital monitoring of activities on the ground
FINDMYLOST - an integrated platform that allows people to find lost objects, no matter where they may be. The solution enables private companies to manage the entire process: from loss, to recovery, to delivery to the owner
INDIGO AI - an artificial intelligence platform that uses chatbot and machine learning to automate chat conversations between companies and their clients.
MAMMA 2.0 - a startup that launched MUKAKO, an e-commerce site for families that aims to offer the best customer service and serve as the best showcase for industry brands.
MAPADORE - the Mapadore Sales Execution Platform uses a unique combination of Artificial Intelligence & Algorithms to radically improve corporate performance while digitizing the whole sales process over the 'last mile' (Field Sales)
PRONTOPRO - a platform that links supply with demand for professionals and craftspeople. It operates in more than 80 markets throughout Italy, covering 430 categories of services
SCLAK - a chip that can be connected to electric locks of any kind. It requires no retrofitting or any internet connection and can be operated using digital inputs and keys, or even on a timer
VIRTUALMIND - a patented system for spherical and stereoscopic video recording with a 360-degree range of view with laserscan. In addition to recording to the device's internal memory, it can send a signal in real time to other devices without any need for additional equipment with a innovative mesh network. Application: 360° endoscopic pill, autonomous guide, security probe, aerospace 360° probe, 360° broadcasting system.
