The Commission Innovative Made in Italy 2020 - The Winners

 

 

The Commission on Innovative Made in Italy met on July 15, 2020 to decide the winning startup proposal for the sector.

 

 

The commission chose among twelve finalists pre-selected by UniCredit Start Lab team. The Commission was composed of senior executives from leading Italian companies.

 

 

In Food area the commission included:

  • Gianluca Giovannetti - Innovation and Business Services Central Manager, Amadori
  • Giangiacomo Ibba - Chairman, Fratelli Ibba
  • Michela Petronio - Vice President, Blu1877 (Barilla Group)

 

In Diversified Made in Italy area the commission included:

  • Fabio Campagnolo - CEO, CMP Campagnolo
  • Stefano Guidotti - Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Milano Investment Partners
  • Danilo Mazzara - Principal Director, Accenture Strategy
  • Leonardo Raineri - Innovation Manager, Miroglio

 

The winning startup of the first prize for the Innovative Made in Italy sector is Alfonsino, a food delivery platform based in Caserta. Unlike the main players in the sector, it is mainly aimed at population centers with a population of between 50k and 200k people

 

The Commission awarded the second prize to Chi Odia Paga ("Haters Gonna Pay") from Milan. It is the first Italian legaltech platform fighting back online hate thanks to its "all in one" solution, protecting online hate victims with its technical and legal services.

 

The third prize went to Twinkly - from Milan - which has developed an innovative product in the Christmas lighting sector. It consists of a physical module (LED lights) and a software module, which allows management via smartphone.

 

Finally, were two the special mentions assigned.

To Evja from Naples, an agri-tech startup that developed and commercializes the first intelligent support system based on sensors, predictive agronomic models and artificial intelligence that helps growers make the best decisions. It improves agrochemicals and irrigation management, allowing to get a healthier, more abundant yield with minimum environmental footprint. 

And to Kampaay, from Milan, a digital platform that allows you to create events for companies and individuals in a few clicks in a simple, fast and reliable way.
