The Commission on Innovative Made in Italy will meet on June, 12 to evaluate the best startups in the sector.

The startups selected to participate in UniCredit Start Lab 2023 will be offered several opportunities, including: 

  • participation in meetings with UniCredit Corporate clients in order to evaluate potential commercial/industrial/technological partnerships, both in ad hoc sectoral initiatives and in one-to-one meetings;
  • opportunity to get in touch with possible investors, including international ones, in dedicated initiatives;
  • access to the Startup Academy and other initiatives as part of the coaching and managerial training program organized by the UniCredit Start Lab team;
  • guidance from professional Mentors, consultants and entrepreneurs, who will help them develop their businesses by offering skills and providing access to networks;
  • possibility of being selected for a Corporate Partnership program with large companies, which provide support with their own mentors and facilities (laboratories and corporate spaces), promote actions ranging from the launch of a joint pilot project to the investment evaluation;
  • possibility of collaborations with UniCredit;
  • the assignment of a dedicated UniCredit relationship manager.

The winner will also receive a cash prize of €10,000.

FASHION AREA

CDC STUDIO     

CDC Studio is a consulting and innovation hub for sustainable ideas. They inspire their peers in repurposing fashion in a more conscious way. They patented CŌĒO, a new technology for repurposing deadstock fabrics and leather thanks to recycled polyethylene. The patented process creates a new waterproof, windproof and recyclable material. From the CŌĒO recycling process a new material is born which is useful for the creation and production of durable products which in turn can be recycled.

CLOBOT             

Cobolt build autonomous apparel production robots to help the apparel production industry to reduce manufacturing cost by 40%. The T-Bot can produce 10.000 T-Shirts in one day without any support of humans. It's fully automated and able to realize 16 different kind of T-Shirts.

ESO RECYCLING

Eso Recycling is a start-up that deals with the treatment of waste from the world of fashion, sport and industry. Through a recycling process that uses innovative technologies and machinery, products such as shoes, apparel, tennis and padel balls, bicycle tires and inner tubes, stock of unsold clothing and shoes, personal protective equipment and production residues from fashion companies, become a new resource.

MIRTA 

Mirta is a B2B platform revolutionizing the way fashion designers and boutiques sell and buy wholesale. Their international clients enjoy a fluid, digital experience to discover and order from 200+ designers from Italy and around the world in an easy, one-stop way. The company approach facilitates year-round product sourcing, either buying in-advance by season as well as ongoing in-season ordering.

MYCHALOM     

MyChalom is an innovative start up in the footwear sector. It was born from the idea of wanting to offer women's shoes of the highest quality at an accessible price in an innovative way. The brand is currently distributed in more than 150 stores in Italy and abroad.

THE ID FACTORY            

The ID Factory (SaaS) is a B Corp and Benefit Corporation that enables fashion companies to gain end-to-end transparency on their global supply chain. With over 1 billion tracked material they operate in 22 countries, working with more than 700 supply chain suppliers of brands such as North Sails, Geox, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Tamaris, s. Oliver.

FOOD AREA

BEVY EXPRESS  

Bevy delivers beverages & bulk products at the customer's doorstep in 2 hours, with electric vans and no weight limits. Its mission is to lighten people's everyday life by taking away the pain of having to carry heavy products. They foster a circular economy through reusable glass bottles.

DELIVERISTO    

Deliveristo is now the leading B2B food tech marketplace where chefs and restaurateurs can order directly from over 350 suppliers. The advantages are the simplification of the orders, the single billing point and a potentially infinite catalog thanks to the drop shipping management. Launched in 2019, Deliveristo has been already used by more than 1500 chefs and restaurateurs.

KINSECT            

Kinsect revolutionises protein production through automated industrial breeding of the black soldier fly. Their state-of-the-art technologies enable optimal reproduction and continuous batch production. They apply circular economy processes for sustainable production that respects ecosystems in line with the European 2030 Agenda.

MANNI OIL       

Manni Oil produces high-end organic extra virgin olive oil, which is mainly sold abroad to star chefs, gourmets and Hollywood stars. The brand is synonymous of quality and sustainability. It owns in Tuscany the only mill in the world with a circular economy production platform with up-cycling of waste into olive flour with high antioxidant power.

NABU   

Nabu develops IoT and data analysis solutions to improve sustainability and efficiency in water management, especially in agriculture. Nabu's technology combines satellite and sensor data, merging information and operational technology to collect, gather, analyse data and control irrigation systems from remote. All these functions are available on a single platform.

X-ENDER           

X-Ender is an innovative technological company specialized in developing blockchain-based solutions for optimizing aerospace and downstream applications, IoT, autonomous agricultural applications, drones, and smart cities.
