The Commission on Impact Innovation will meet on July, 21 to evaluate the best startups in the sector.

The startups selected to participate in UniCredit Start Lab 2022 will be offered several opportunities, including: 

• participation in meetings with UniCredit Corporate clients in order to evaluate potential commercial/industrial/technological partnerships, both in ad hoc sectoral initiatives and in one-to-one meetings;
• opportunity to get in touch with possible investors, including international ones, in dedicated initiatives;
• access to the Startup Academy and other initiatives as part of the coaching and managerial training program organized by the UniCredit Start Lab team;
• guidance from professional Mentors, consultants and entrepreneurs, who will help them develop their businesses by offering skills and providing access to networks;
• the assignment of a dedicated UniCredit manager.

The winner will also receive a cash prize of €10,000.

ALGOR EDUCATION      

Algor Education is the web application that helps students of all ages to learn online easily and smartly with mind maps, with a focus on those with dyslexia or other SLDs. Thanks to their collaborative editor, everyone can create multimedia mind maps manually from ready-made templates or automatically from documents or keywords using Artificial Intelligence algorithms.

AQUASEEK        

Aquaseek is a Polytechnic of Turin spin-off and "Princeton University startup" that aims to provide regular, reliable and sustainable access to water to everyone, everywhere on earth. To do this, its researchers have developed and patented a revolutionary technology capable of generating distilled water from atmospheric vapour in unique conditions of aridity and energy efficiency.

AROUND           

Around provides the first digital and deposit-free reusable system for food packaging in Italy that offers every restaurant, canteen and delivery service an affordable and sustainable alternative to disposable and waste. Thanks to QR codes technology and through a digital platform, Around guarantees circularity, tracing the entire process.

AWORLD           

AWorld is the Platform that engages, educates and measures the impact of individuals. AWorld is the official app of the United Nations campaign ActNow, a powerful tool for organizations to engage their Stakeholders on sustainability and reporting on ESG and Net Zero.

BI-REX 

Bi-rex's challenge is to exploit different wastes from the agro-food industry, process them and obtain raw materials with high added value such as cellulose, chitin, lignin and hemicellulose. The patent pending process developed - totally green and eco-sustainable - is reagent free, in fact it uses a new class of green and non toxic solvents called DES (Deep Eutectic Solvents).

LEVANTE           

Levante is a green tech startup that produces a smart, modular, portable solar panel inspired by origami. In this way it's possible to have clean energy anywhere and charge while traveling.

The device is made from recycled materials and allows for space savings, greater energy efficiency and durability."

MYGRANTS       

Mygrants is the first app based on adaptive microlearning specifically designed to provide migrants, through 10.000 thematic quiz modules in 4 languages: up-to date relevant information on rights, duties and functioning of the asylum system, personalized digital training program, access to credit and career placement (job placement | entrepreneurship).

NAZENA            

Nazena is a startup that upcycles textile waste into new, circular and sustainable products. Thanks to a patented process, fibres  are recovered and treated to obtain a totally new material that is employed to produce different types of products such as packaging, visual retail and furniture.

OGYRE 

Ogyre is the first global 'fishing for litter' platform, a virtuous model that aims to clean up the seas with the help of fishermen. They, in fact, recover marine waste, often during normal fishing activities. The startup involves people and companies in its mission who, through the platform, can safeguard the sea by directly supporting the flots of fishing boats engaged in collection projects.

TUNDR

Tundr is a startup that aims at promoting organizational wellbeing and at reaching corporate goals. An innovative e-welfare ecosystem that supports employers in the provision of social-impact oriented benefits, by combining them in a unique digital tool and using a smart card to buy services.
