The Board of Experts dedicated to Innovative Made in Italy business projects has met on May 28th to evaluate the 15 finalists, operating in the fields of Food & Agri-tech and Fashion

The board, made up of senior executives and key opinion leaders, saw the participation of:

Restworld has won the first prize, being classified as the best of the most promising of the 15 startups presented. Restworld is an HRTech startup revolutionizing job search in the restaurant sector, using advanced matching algorithms to connect job seekers and employers. The startup will receive a 10.000 € grant.

Runner-up is Real Bowl, a production and brand company that creates a fresh, complete, personalized, balanced natural dog food, with no need to be stored in the fridge, with a positive impact on the animals' longevity.

Third position goes to ZeroW, an innovative startup in the circular fashion industry, offering a B2B marketplace to facilitate the resale and recycling of waste and unused materials. Its mission is to reduce waste in the fashion industry while promoting circular economy practices that extend the life of materials beyond the traditional production cycle. 

Finally, a Special Mention goes to Vivaio Ventures, an innovative startup operating as a venture builder, which partners with content creators to launch and scale their consumer brands, offering 360-degree support in all brand operations and providing the essential know-how, technology and capital, while creators are free to focus on creative direction and communication. 

A second Special Mention goes to Menabòh, a marketplace that connects people with fashion designers to upcycle their clothes. With approximately 80% of clothes worldwide unused and a wealth of creative fashion designers seeking paid work, Menabòh bridges this gap facilitating the creation of unique pieces from existing garment.

Cloov enables brands and retailers to create rental and second-hand sales offerings for their customers, providing a sustainable alternative to fast fashion while simultaneously optimizing inventory. Thanks to its proprietary software, Cloov creates a fully customizable re-commerce, manages orders, and handles logistics, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both brands and customers.

Dresso

Dresso has developed a patented business model that incentivizes and tracks circular economy in the fashion industry, capable of ensuring the security of sales and generating revenues for brands from the second-hand market.

Lualtek

Lualtek provides a dedicated service for farm monitoring, control, and management, offering an open and scalable platform to achieve sustainable and efficient farming.

Newtra

Newtra Food creates sustainable powdered nutraceutical ingredients, through a proprietary technology that extracts and concentrates up to 700% of the entire phytocomplex of the fresh vegetable, capable of improving the nutritional, functional, technological, and organoleptic profile of foods, supplements and pet food.

RE3

Re3 is a circular economy model designed to reduce the environmental impact of industrial textile waste and used garments through technology based on a proprietary platform that provides access to a textile waste management and tracking system and a digital passport for each garment.

Scudo

Scudo Technology has created the revolutionary antibacterial elastomer for 24-hour hygiene and protection from germs and bacteria. Thanks to its revolutionary technology, Scudo is creating objects for everyday use capable of killing 99.9 % of the bacteria.

Soplaya

Soplaya has developed a digital and logistics platform for restaurants, giving chefs easy access to thousands of artisan and niche ingredients as well as important food brands. One app, one invoice, and one delivery from hundreds of producers operating in 15 Italian cities.

While True

While True has developed a process to chemically recycle the polyester fibers in textile waste, to obtain recycled polymer (RPET) of virgin-like quality and suitable for applications in food packaging or fiber production.

Why Only White

Why Only White has developed an AR platform based on smart projection that allows for instant and unlimited modification of the aesthetics of any physical object to enhance the creativity of design, personalization and exhibition of products with no harms on the environment. 

Yeastime

Yeastime is a B2B startup which has developed and patented an innovative solution that leverages ultrasound technologies to help producers in the field of fermentation, accelerate their fermentation process by 30% in a more sustainable and cost effective manner.
