Wallife is the first Insurtech in the world to offer insurance solutions to protect people from new risks from technological innovation and scientific progress.
Founded in 2020 by Fabio Sbianchi and led by CEO Maria Enrica Angelone, Wallife is an Italian company whose main objective is to protect individuals throughout their existence. The insurance coverages designed by Wallife aim to protect individuals' digital identity, and their biometric and genetic data, safeguarding them from potential distorted and fraudulent use of sensitive information.
Wallife focuses its research and development activities on three areas of risk: Biometrics, Genetics and Biohacking. Wallife's mission has two main objectives: developing new protection solutions for new and emerging threats and raising awareness on how to safely use new technologies; on the other hand, designing new products to cope with known and existing risks that any other insurance company does not currently cover.
Constant research activity is vital to achieving these goals. Innovation has countless potentialities, but it also opens up new critical issues. With one's biometric data, people are increasingly exposed to risks related to access to banking applications and social accounts. Furthermore, the fraudulent use of one's genetic information can potentially put individuals' health at risk.
Wallife's goal is to identify these new issues and design cutting-edge technological solutions to improve people's safety, always putting the individual first.
