Real Bowl builds on the experience of the founders, breeders and dog educators, who, during their activities, were able to observe the absence of a food that combined the goodness of fresh food and the convenience of kibble. In particular, the activity made it possible to observe what the daily difficulties encountered by all dog owners were: BARF (i.e., food purchased from the butcher) requires long hours of daily preparation, and even fresh food purchased online arrives home frozen, assuming a daily thawing process, which makes it impractical, especially during travel and commuting. On the other hand, kibble is often characterized by the addition of appetizers and chemical additives, negatively impacting the animal's health and longevity. 

Real Bowl has created the only fresh gruel, without preservatives or additives, with a shelf life of 9 months, combining the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients, and providing the same convenience as kibble. 

The online platform makes it possible to order and receive a tailor-made diet for dogs at home: to create the customized diet, all you need to do is register a profile for your dog on Real Bowl. A specialised algorithm estimates the ideal portions, depending on the animal's caloric needs, so that the most suitable diet is defined. The user can then choose from 9 different formulations developed in-house and produced through custom-created machinery and innovative cooking processes, available in cooked, raw, grain-free or gluten-free, and chicken-, beef- or fish-based versions. 

The service is offered through a subscription model with a delivery option every two, three or four weeks, depending on the needs of the user, who will receive individual packages containing the daily portion, to be divided into two or more meals, depending on the age of the dog. The product is manufactured within a proprietary factory located in Ospedaletto Euganeo (Padua, Italy) through a sustainable and patented production process that allows for these unique shelf life characteristics.
